there are a couple of major choices which will affect your mass effect 2 gameplay
1) argument with wrex: whether you kill him or not in the genophage argument at virmire
2) Romantic interest with liara, kaidan or ashley will be seen in the second one, the one with liara in much more detail than the other two since they only appear for about 2 min and liara is a major character in the lair of the shadow broker dlc (totally download it its incredible)
3) Whether you sacrificed kaidan or ashley will be seen in mass effect 2. if you romanced kaidan/ashley and sacrificed him/her the romance ends and wont appear at all in the second one, ashley/kaidan appearing instead (i think, since i romance kaidan and sacrificed ashley)
4) whether you saved the council or not at the end. I chose the first option and in the second one there is a human councilor with the council reappearing even
*5) (only if you saved the council) who you chose as human councilor: anderson or udina
most small decisions will be only referenced or mentioned by other characters, in news broadcasts or even emails received from characters in the sidequests. Dont worry about these since they wont affect your gameplay for the most part, or even at all
Im absolutely sure the choices you made in both games will have an effect in the third one which i cant wait, since mass effect 1%26amp;2 are my favorite games and the third one is sure to be incredible.
