What are the best weapons in mass effect 2?

I've been playing mass effect 2 for a wile now and I've only got like one upgraded version of each weapon, i was just wondering if you get more or if you get extra weapons in the second play through like in the first one with specter master weapons?What are the best weapons in mass effect 2?
There are only 19 total weapons in the game, including the heavy weapons.



There will be more eventually that are added with the DLCs and stuff.



Collector Assault Rifle is decent. You can also get the Geth Assault Rifle if you do Tali's Recruitment quest on Hardcore or Insanity difficulty.



Incisor Sniper Rifle is a sniper that fires three round bursts -- "Ba-ba-blam" headshots. Dead.



There're plenty of decent guns. But yeah, you're not gonna have an inventory bursting with a buncha **** guns. They knew that no one used the trash guns, they were there for no reason.



There are fewer guns in ME2, none are really better than any of the rest. But they all function differently. IE, some Assault Rifles burst-fire, some are full-auto. Just pick a gun that you're comfortable with. There are no guns that're like 4 points more damaging, etc.
