General Windows locations

[APPDATA] -- The default location for standard application settings

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\

Windows Vista: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\

[LOCAL] -- The default location for system-specific application settings

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Local Settings\

Windows Vista: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\

[SAVEDGAMES] -- The Windows Vista default Saved Games folder

Windows Vista: C:\Users\[DOCUMENTS]\Saved Games\

Windows XP: I do not know of any Windows XP analog for this location.

i have the retail version and mass effect 2 uses securom so these are the possible three locations where the game might be saved i have retail and u got steam maybe its diffrenet thats why i listed three possible save locations but for the retail version its on mydocuments/bioware/masseffect 2

copy the save from the old pc to the new pc same place you found the save location on the old pc use usb portable or something and the game should detect the save game and continue where u leftIs it possible to transfer Mass Effect 2 saved files from one computer to another?
