In mass effect 2 what machine gun is best?

Ok in mass effect 2, i know you can upgrade the machine gun, but does that count for all of them, or just the first one you start off with?In mass effect 2 what machine gun is best?
It counts toward all of them, and they get better as you unlock them usually. The farther down on the list, the better. This applies to all gun types. (shotgun damage upgrade applies to all shotguns.)In mass effect 2 what machine gun is best?
You can only get a couple of upgrades for each weapon. That is, the upgrades you can find/ buy at various points along the course of the game. there arn't many, just 3 versions of each weapon really, besides heavy weapons, only 2 of which will be available to you during the course of the game as you must choose between upgrading your Machine gun, shotgun or sniper at one point in the campaign.In mass effect 2 what machine gun is best?
I like the vindicator battle rifle personally, that and the sniper rifle really helped for my insanity playthrough.



And as for upgrades for example if you get the upgrade for 10% more damage with sniper rifles this will effect ALL the sniper rifles you have now and in the future.
